Arsenal’s Nicolas Pepe names Man United player as his toughest opponent
Arsenal attacker Nicolas Pepe has named Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka as his toughest opponent.
Speaking to Amazon Prime Video Sport, Pepe said he believes the Englishman’s ability both defensively
Moreover, also in offensively makes him a nightmare to play against.
Pepe said when asked to name his toughest opponent.
“I really enjoy watching him play. I would say Wan-Bissaka. I think he is very strong in both areas,”.
Meanwhile, former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov believes Manchester United need to sign a new right-back to provide good competition for Wan-Bissaka.
“Right back [they need to improve], in my opinion. I was really happy that they bought a second back”
“And what a second back [Varane], a serial winner,” Dimitar Berbatov told Metro.co.uk, earlier this month
“But a right back to give more push to Wan-Bissaka, to drive that competition and everywhere else is a complete squad”
“You see you sign a left back and someone who can drive you who can do your best in the case of Alex Telles”
“then how this raises the performance of Luke Shaw,” Berbatov added.
“Because you think ‘wait a minute, this guy is going to take my position”
“So you need to push even more into my training programme and here we go the result is he’s had a great tournament”
“a great Premier League and he’s going strong”
“So I hope that he continues that way, but at the moment he’s very very good at what he is doing.”
