Chelsea loanee Anjorin arrives in Moscow, handed iconic shirt number
Chelsea prolific midfielder Faustino Anjorni made his loan move to Russia side Lokomotiv Moscow.
The 19-years-old player will continue his 2021/22 season at Moscow where he’s expected to improve.
However, Anjorni was initially named on the England U20 roster for their upcoming friendly against Romania at St.
George’s Park but has been replaced by Derby County’s Louie Sibley.
On Thursday, both Chelsea and Lokomotiv Moscow confirmed that they have reached an agreement over a loan deal
Fabrizio claimed the teenager loan deal includes options to buy on a permanent deal.
Moreover, Chelsea made a buy-back option in the deal similar to the clause use for Tammy Abraham at Roma.
Lokomotiv Moscow uploaded on Instagram a video of Anjorin‘s arrival at the airport in Moscow.
The Railwaymen have registered the 19-year-old for the Russian Premier League and he will be wearing the iconic number 10 jersey for the remainder of the 2021-2022 campaign.
Previous holders of the number 10 jersey include David Mujiri, Ilya Tsymbalar, Vladimir Maminov, Andrey Lavrik, Igor Cherevchenko, Oleg Garin, and Evgeni Kuznetsov.
