‘He is ready’ — Solskjaer happy to have star player back
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given his side’s injury update ahead of this weekend’s game
And he’s glad about the current state of his squad.
Solskjaer has revealed that he has no fresh injury concerns
And the only players unavailable for selection are Marcus Rashford and Amad Diallo.
Solskjaer has now revealed that he is glad to welcome back Edinson Cavani and has revealed that the veteran striker is back in training fully and is now ready for selection.
“Edinson has joined in training fully after that game [on Wednesday] and he’s held his hand up and is ready,” Solskjaer said.
“Last season as well, he didn’t have a pre-season when he came here”
“He’s so professional and meticulous and, of course, we’re glad to now have him back training with us and in the squad.”
It’s interesting to see how Solskjaer would rotate between Ronaldo and Cavani for the center-forward role.
