People are saying things’: Kai Havertz comments on Arsenal

Kai Havertz has moved to warn Chelsea against complacency for their side’s trip to Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

Having won the Champions League a few months ago, the Blues

who re-signed Romelu Lukaku in a £95 million deal recently, will be big favourites to win at the Emirates Stadium.

Not only that, but Arsenal suffered a dreadful opening-day defeat by Brentford in their last game

Havertz told Chelseas official website;

“It will be tough on Sunday and Arsenal are dangerous because they have a lot of quality players.

People are saying that things aren’t going well for them at the moment but we know they have very good players and we need to take care in our approach.”

No striker

Arsenal could be without an established striker once again, just like for Brentford.

Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both tested positive for the coronavirus last week.

Although the latter is available for selection, the fact he hasnt been training isn’t a good sign.

With Eddie Nketiah also out through injury, Arteta must either play 19-year-old Folarin Balogun – who was ineffective against the Bees last Friday – or take a punt and use Gabriel Martinelli.

When you factor in Chelsea’s boost from Lukaku, the contrast between both sides’ attacking options is frightening and despite Havertz’s warning, a lot of Tuchel’s squad will be expecting another win.
