Report: Chelsea’s Ace Dribbler set to return from loan after crucial issues

In the final days of the summer transfer window, Tino Anjorin arrived with great fanfare and even greater expectations at Lokomotiv Moscow from Chelsea

Despite his young age and practically zero senior professional experience — technically only on loan

But seemingly with every intention by the Ralf Rangnick-led Russian Premier League side

However, to make the move permanent before long (with a buy-back for Chelsea).

Fate would have slightly different ideas in mind however, it would seem.

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder broke a metatarsal in his foot on Wednesday.

Lokomotiv head coach Markus Gisdol confirmed the news after their 1-1 draw against Galatasaray last night in the Europa League group stages.

Report: Chelsea's Ace Dribbler set to return from loan after crucial issues

“He broke his metatarsal bone yesterday in training” – Markus Gisdol

“He will most likely be out for the rest of the (calendar) year and he will go back to Chelsea for treatment.”

Gisdol added that this is a normal course of action as far as the treatment plan’s concerned

As Anjorin is still just a loanee — though he is expected to return to Lokomotiv in the spring still

After their season resumes following the winter break that runs from mid-December to late-February.

Before last night, Anjorin had featured in all but one of Lokomotiv’s games in all competitions since joining

Though starting just 3 of those 9 appearances. He has 1 goal to his name so far.

Speedy recovery, Tino! (And while this may put in a kink in Lokomotiv’s plans, if this means that Chelsea get a second chance, I won’t be complaining.)
