Premier League rivals Manchester City have reportedly joined Manchester United in the race for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice.

According to The Sun, Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola wants to sign Rice next summer transfer

However, as a replacement for Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho

The midfielder has reached the last year of his contract and is unlikely to sign a new deal.

West Ham value Rice at around £100million and Manchester City are reportedly willing to pay.

The Englishman’s current contract runs out in 2024 and there is no immediate pressure for West Ham to offload him.

Manchester City are said to have tracked Rice since he broke into West Ham’s first team at 18

Pep side has placed him high on their list of transfer targets.

Manchester United has long been linked with a move with Rice, with the contracts of midfielders Paul Pogba, Fred, and Nemanja Matic ending in 2022, 2023, and 2023 respectively.

Old Trafford is also keeping close eyes but could fail out due to the high price tag from West-Ham.
